The 100 Back in Bloom
The 100 Black Men of DeKalb County is partnering again with the Atlanta Youth Tennis & Education Foundation this spring to continue their youth tennis and life skills program. Held at the Dottie Bridges Tennis Center in Decatur on Saturdays through May 19th, RACKET Club sessions focus on health, wellness, basic strokes, match play, and sportsmanship.
Coach Bryan Shepherd is excited to see the progress the Leadership Academy teens have made since last fall. “It’s great to learn that several of the kids are now playing on their high school tennis teams.” But the RACKET Club has another goal explains the 100’s Dr. Romeo Stockett. “The parents and participants are looking forward to creating their first USTA Junior Team this summer.”
